Qi Gong

QIGONG

Qigong (pronounced ‘chee gong’) is a Chinese art of movement closely related to Tai Chi. It consists of gentle, relaxing exercises which are usually practised standing, but can also be done in a sitting position. Qi Gong movements are designed to improve the flow of energy (Qi) in the body as well as the mind, providing positive benefits both for our health and wellbeing.

Relaxing music in the background helps us embark on a journey to healing waves of water, the magic of rainbows and butterflies, supple seaweed, and more. The deepening of our breathing lets the tension and stress melt away... Some invigorating exercises, like an energy bubble bath, help us perk up our energy in a harmonious way. Qi Gong exercises are a great way to gain and sustain better health. They are suitable for anyone as they can easily be adapted to individual needs.

"Jolanda is a great Qi Gong teacher. Her class was the first Qi Gong class I had taken and it felt good right away. I was de-conditioned due to illness but I found her class gave me more energy and made my joints feel better instead of more sore as other activities seemed to do.
I highly recommend her classes. It is gentle, relaxing exercise and great for stress reduction. I am already missing them and looking forward to the next class!"
